MEET OUR PASTOR

Terrence Battle Sr. was born and raised in Childersburg Al. He is married to his best friend and lovely wife Lady Tricia Battle of 19 years, in which they have a son, Terrence Battle jr. Pastor Battle accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized by the late W.H. Burney Senior Pastor of the Tallaseehatchee Missionary Baptist in Childersburg, Al.

In 1995, Pastor Battle moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area, joined Bread of Life Church and continued to faithfully serve in the following areas of the church. Sound ministry, Men’s Ministry Leader, Deacon Ministry, Prayer Ministry, Evangelism Outreach Ministry, and was subsequently appointed as Director of Christian Education. Terrence was first ordained as a deacon in 1997 during his time of serving at Bread of Life Church.

Pastor Battle answered his call into the ministry at Central Baptist Church in Lawrenceville Georgia, under Pastor Ervin A. Kimbel. On December 12, 2009, he accepted the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has always been his passion to see all believers grow in the fullness of knowing that we are justified by faith, through the sanctification of the Holy Spirit and the redemption of His blood has afforded us the opportunity of reconciliation, atonement, and repentance made only possible by the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pastor Battle carries such a unique love for the Lord that has afforded him the amazing opportunities to serve in the capacity of several leadership positions over the years such as Finance Advisory Committee, Deacon Ministry, Men’s ministry, Evangelism Outreach ministry, Discipleship Training, Youth minister and Prayer team.

During this time of serving, he was ordained an Elder in 2011 where he was actively involved on the Board of Elders at Central Baptist Church, Lawrenceville GA.

On December 2, 2018, Pastor Battle was elevated to the office of Pastor of Christian Education where he was actively supporting multiple ministries such as the Christian Curriculum and teaching ministry which included Discipleship training, and Ministry Teaching at both Men and women's shelters.

Pastor Battle strives to gain a deeper knowledge of God’s word by continuing his education. In 2010 he received a certificate of completion in Advanced Discipleship Training from Grace Ministries International, Marietta, Georgia.

In May 2020, Pastor Battle received his certificate in Christian Studies from Metro Atlanta Seminary Duluth, Georgia and he has completed his BA Degree in Theology and currently pursuing his Master of Theology. He is a member of the Muscogee County Clergy Association supporting local pastors in the area of Columbu, GA

In the year of January 16, 2022, Pastor Battle accepted the call from God to plant a local church in the Midland, Georgia area where he serves as the founding pastor of Five Stone Christian Church. The church has already begun faithfully holding online worship service, in-person worship, Monday morning devotion, and outreach activities. Pastor Battle is very appreciative of the favor that God has already afforded Five Stone Christian Church and he owes all Glory to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this awesome opportunity to advance the Kingdom of God for His Glory.

Here at Five Stone Christian Church, we believe in what the scripture says according to Romans 10:9-10

Accept that you need a Savior, believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and God raised him from the dead. Confess with your mouth that you are a sinner, ask Jesus to come inside your heart and forgive you of your sins and receive him as your personal Lord and Savior.
