Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Terrence Battle Sr. serves Five Stone with a love for God, His Word, and His people.
Pastor Terrence Battle Sr.
Born and raised in Childersburg, Alabama, Pastor Battle is married to his best friend, Lady Tricia Battle, and they have a son, Terrence Battle Jr. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized by the late W. H. Burney, Senior Pastor of Tallaseehatchee Missionary Baptist Church.
After moving to the Atlanta area in 1995, he served faithfully in sound ministry, men’s ministry, the deacon ministry, prayer, evangelism outreach, and Christian education. He was ordained as a deacon in 1997.
Pastor Battle answered the call to preach the Gospel on December 12, 2009, while serving at Central Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was ordained an elder in 2011 and later served as Pastor of Christian Education.
A life of service and study
Pastor Battle has served in finance advisory, deacon, men’s ministry, evangelism outreach, discipleship training, youth ministry, prayer ministry, and Christian education leadership.
He received advanced discipleship training through Grace Ministries International and a certificate in Christian Studies from Metro Atlanta Seminary. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and has pursued graduate theological study.
On January 16, 2022, Pastor Battle accepted God’s call to plant Five Stone Christian Church in the Midland, Georgia area. The church began with online and in-person worship, devotion, and outreach activities. Pastor Battle gives all glory to Jesus Christ for the opportunity to advance God’s Kingdom.
